About Nee Tahi Buhn First Nation
Home to an Ancient Culture
Nee Tahi Buhn First Nation is located at Francois Lake, British Columbia, with 5 reserves all located within 10 km of the south shore of Francois Lake. Nee Tahi Buhn is home to an ancient culture, a rugged history and a vibrant present. Our community is made up of approximately 150 members and we are committed to preserving and promoting our traditional language, culture and way of life.
At Nee Tahi Buhn, we strive to cultivate a positive environment in which members of all ages can learn, grow and thrive. We place a great deal of importance on preserving our culture and traditions, which are deeply embedded in our language, arts and ceremonies. Through language revitalization programs, organic farming initiatives, and local sustainable social enterprise projects, we continue to honor our past and move towards a brighter future.
